GIS ENGINEER

Responsibilities :

You will be a part of our Professional Service delivery team and providing support to our users in areas of project implementations, technology demonstrations, and pre-sales as well as training and technical support. Successful candidates will receive necessary foundation training to achieve success in their role.

- Contribute to project implementation
- Contribute to software application development leveraging on a strong GIS software platform
- Contribute to end-user technical support and technology seminars/exhibitions

Requirements :

- Male
- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related discipline
- Training will be provided to candidate with no relevant working experience
- Fresh Graduate are welcome / Candidates with 2 years working experience with Geographic Information Systems or Spatial Sciences will be considered
- Strong knowledge in 2 or more of the following:
- Java, .NET, with object-oriented analysis and design methodologies
- Web-based technology such as HTML, CSS, Flash, PHP, etc.; and web browsers and their rendering engines; and understanding of issues regarding web usability
- Mobile technology such as IOS, Android SDK
- RDBMS such as SQL Server or Oracle
- ArcGIS or other GIS software technology
- Candidates with experience in waterfall and agile software lifecycle development processes, standards and best practices will be an advantage
- Able to work well within a team and independently
- Able to work well under pressure while maintaining quality
- Possess good communication skills
- Possess good learning attitude and keen to take on technical challenges
